All along, I didn’t realise that I was having the wrong pan to saute my food in. What I owned was a frying pan and it didn’t have the right depth and size that I need. I knew I had to find the best stainless steel saute pan out there and where better to start searching than the internet. Most of the cooking blogs suggested that I looked into the Cuisinart Chef’s Classic Stainless 5-1/2-Quart Saute Pan.
One of the thing that you need to know is that a saute pan will have a bigger area than the frying pan. It also have straight sides that won’t allow liquid to easily splatter everywhere. You can also perform shallow frying tasks which I find it extremely hard to do with a frying pan. Not only that, I’ve braised my chicken thighs before in wine and it turned out very nice. The lid also closed tightly which is a very good feature since the flavours of the food will not escape.
The reason why this is the best stainless steel cookware out there is because not only is the base of it made out of aluminium, it has a riveted handle that doesn’t get hot and it has the perfect weight for you to toss your food. It’s not too heavy as you need a lighter pan if you want to properly saute your food but remember, the way you cut your food is also important.
Definitely A Recommendation
I find myself searching for my stainless steel saute pan more often than my frying pan as the heat is spread out evenly and my food taste much better now. This stainless steel cookware is not pricey at all. I would definitely recommend this cookware to my friends and family members. I even thought of buying this saute pan for my younger brother as he has recently shown interest in cooking.
